Interior Painting Process
Any necessary areas of your home’s interior. Walls cleaned before primer coat. We don’t paint over dust, no corners are cut.
In order to properly prepare the interior, any loose paint is scraped, glossy areas are scuff sanded, spackling and drywall repair is performed, and any gaps are caulked to provide great esthetics.
Next, your repaired areas are primed before premium-quality paint is applied.Typically a primer coat is applied. This creates a uniform finish that looks spectacular.
At the end of each day, and upon completion of your project, the painting crew cleans up around worksite, ensuring any paint chips are removed and all materials are packed up and stored neatly away.
We will walk you through the space, providing you the opportunity to review our work and to provide any feedback.

PaintPositive is committed to your health and planet earth. We can provide use of non-toxic paints, which means a healthier home and leaves a lower impact on the environment; while maintaining a high standard of quality that will last for years to come.
Garage & Basement Floors
Let’s face it. Garage floors and basement floors get dirty. We will check to see if the floor is damp. If it is, then you have moisture related issues that will have to be addressed first. We will clean the basement floor with a mild solution of muriatic acid to remove any oil, grease, and dirt. Cracks will be repaired. A two part water based system will normally work just fine on a concrete floor. PaintPositive has extensive experience in bringing cement floors to life.
Wallpaper can easily become outdated or damaged. If your wallpaper is beginning to look drab or just doesn’t fit your style anymore, make sure you turn PaintPositive for removal services. While it may seem like a simple weekend DIY job, wallpaper removal can quickly become a costly project. (see wallpaper removal image)
Dry Wall & Plaster Repair
Water can damage drywall in homes and offices throughout our area. If water damage is ignored, the drywall may not be usable again. It may need to be replaced, and that can be very costly. Bear in mind that wet drywall is a health threat. Mold can thrive on it. Therefore, drywall repair should be a top priority.

Your windows don’t only allow you to look out at the world beyond your home – they also allow sunshine to pour in, which can provide warmth and light. This is why keeping your windows crystal clear and clean is so important. Over time, dirt and debris on your windows can become smudged when in contact with moisture and condensation. Not only can this make it difficult to see the view outside your home, but it can also negatively affect the look and feel of your home’s ambiance. Fresh paint and clean windows go hand-in-hand.
